Laser Skin Rejuvenation
A skin rejuvenation treatment with the PicoSure, the "PicoFacial," is the most technologically advanced, non-surgical, non-invasive laser skin procedure for those seeking a revitalized, more youthful appearance. It works by stimulating new collagen growth and skin elasticity that is lost as we age. Our patients experience excellent results for hyperpigmented skin, also known as age or brown spots due to sun damage, freckles and other dark pigmented lesions. Acne or surgical scars, fine lines and wrinkles, melasma, and more, are also easily treated with the PicoSure. Our laser can treat most areas of the body including chest or décolleté, hands, arms, legs and back.
What sets this apart from other laser facial procedures is that there is NO downtime - this is due to the decreased thermal (heat) damage with the PicoSure. You can return to work or resume your normal activites immediately, with the appearance of a mild sunburn, and makeup can be applied following treatment. This skin reaction usually last up to a few hours, depending on the extent of the treatment.
The procedure takes 15 to 30 minutes and no numbing agents are needed. 4 to 6 treatmens are recommended for total skin rejuvenation, spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart. Sun and aging spots, and freckles, can often be significantly lightened or removed in just 2 or 3 treatments.
Botox
BOTOX® Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA) is one of the safest and most popular medical procedures in the world. Botox smooths wrinkles by temporarily freezing the muscles that create them. It is injected into the muscles to reduce and improve crow's feet lines around the eyes and frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults. It is also used to soften or eliminate dynamic frown or "squint" lines in the forehead.
We also offer Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA) as an alternative.
This treatment takes about 15 minutes and results are seen between 2 and 10 days, lasting an average of 3 months.
Dermal Fillers
JUVÉDERM® XC, Restylane-L®, Restylane® Silk, Restylane® Lyft (Perlane-L®) are injectable gels containing hyaluronic acid (a naturally occurring carbohydrate in the human body) and are used for injection into areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur to add volume to the skin, especially around the nose and mouth. The effects can last up to several months. Restylane and Juvederm can also be used for lip enhancement or augmentation, and to fill lip lines, in patients over 21 years of age.
